DREAMS

When you go to sleep at night
Your brain is always there
It may seem like you punch and fight
But you will not harm a hair.

You go into a fantasy world
Where imagination runs wild
You will think that the dream is being twirled
Only you will feel like a child.

Dreams reflect upon the past
We can learn from them, or they can destroy us
The time will come when we will dream our last
Only this ever-painful day will be a must.

Love is but a type of dream
In which we all persist
It is unlike any other means
Of achieving eternal bliss.

So when you go to sleep tonight
Just think who will be there
Some may say it will be all right
But I warn you--beware.
